Jesse Shroyer
"Jesse Shroyer is a joyful, beam of light who believes in sharing magic, being barefoot as often as possible, and the healing power of puppies. Creating connections with people through her authentic, vulnerable and playful teaching style is where her heart thrives.
“To be here now, feeling vibrantly alive and in the moment is what the practice of yoga is about for me. I hope my students strengthen their mind-body connection while experiencing a shared connection with each other during each class. I strive to create a safe space where you can shed judgment and fear to unearth your most free, loving, high-flying self possible.”
Yoga has been part of Jesse’s life for years and she began teaching in January 2015 after studying with Kelly Smith Colln. Understanding how the body works best for each individual with a focus on anatomy, safety and alignment are found in each of Jesse’s classes - as are high fives, belly laughs and a rockin’ playlist.
She is a 200HR E-RYT through the Kansas City Yoga Teacher Training program, is certified in Chair Yoga and a certified Reiki Level II practitioner. She has a passion for sharing yoga on site throughout communities at events, festivals, international and local retreats.
Jesse studied Political Science/Communications at William Jewell College where she began teaching cheerleading camps and continues to do so to this day as part of the SpiritWorks team. You can often find her with her pup Rosa Jean spreading the love outdoors, listening to live music or enjoying a good dance party in their kitchen.
