Sedona Alvarez

"Sedona's deep commitment to a living yoga practice is the driving force behind empowering offerings that encourage you to explore and connect with your deep intuitive self. Upon earning RYT 200 credentials in 2013 through LifePower Yoga with Sue Park and Kelly Gough, Sedona dove into teaching and has been cultivating community in Kansas City ever since. A lifelong student, Sedona has recently been accepted into Colorado School of Yoga's 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training program with Gina Caputo and Tracey Garcia. Other recent adventures include leading Yoga + Hiking excursions, assisting yoga teacher training programs, curating art shows, and leading retreats. Sedona truly meets you where you are at and encourages you to embrace your own unique experience. With a trauma informed approach that is anchored in the belief that everybody deserves to benefit from the practices of yoga, Sedona mindfully crafts classes to be safe and accessible for all. Rich with creativity, peppered with humor and woven together with pearls of wisdom, Sedona’s sequences are intelligently designed to help you find more freedom in every facet of life. Outside the studio, Sedona can be found making art, playing music, traveling the world, book reading, coffee drinking, cat snuggling, or hiking in the woods with the happiest dog ever, Ruby Joon."
